2011 Kent Pro Shows A Huge Success!

Kent’s 2011 series of Pro Shows were, again, a huge success, with Contractors, Home Builder’s, Pro-Renovators, tradespeople and other professional builders, all coming together to share knowledge, network, and have some fun!

The 50+ building material vendors that attended the three shows in Newfoundland, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, took full advantage of the opportunity to explain their products and showcase innovative building supply products, trends or techniques their companies are offering. Even Jon Eakes, highly respected authority on construction technology and partner in Case Modular, was in attendance.

Between mingling with vendors, our professional customers were also treated to a full buffet, encouraged to compete in our Kent Skills Competitions, and automatically entered into draws to win awesome prizes; including a $2000 DeWalt Tool Package, a $1500 Broil King Regal XL Propane Barbeque and a $20000 2011 Harley-Davidson Fatboy FLSTF Motorcycle at each of the three shows!

The Kent Skills Competitions were packed for the entirety of the shows, as customers tried to “Nail It” “Drill It” or “Putt It”. Prizes included Stanley 25’ Fat Max® Measuring Tapes, Kuny’s Micro Fiber Gloves, Stanley 15‘ Fat Max® Saws, Stanley 20 oz Fat Max® Hammers and Task Chalk Reel and Line Levels. The “Putt It” was the most popular competition of the shows, with the first hole-in-one of the night winning the putter a DeWalt 10” Sliding Compound Mitre Saw.
